The Police Secondary School, Minna, Founded by the NIgeria Police Force Head-quarters, started classes on the 2nd of july,1992. the school is located in Minna Metropolis along the western Bye-pass Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe Road. It is a Co-eduactional Institution. At inception there were 176 Students, 25 Teachers and 15 Policemen including the Pioneer Commandant, Mr. J.F. Agamah (DSP). The students population has now risen to 1,300, comprising 800 boys and 500 girls with a staff strength of 53 Teachers. The school presented her first set of candidates for JSCE in 1994 and the result was promising. It presented candidates for the SSCE in May/June 1997. The school compound is extensive covering an area of 16.501 hectares of land. The day to day administration of the school is handled by the Commandant assisted by the two Vice Principals, Administration and Academics.
